Concept design exploring a unified, performance-driven pattern extending across upper, midsole, and outsole in a hybrid-manufactured footwear product.
Created with a custom, volume-driven TPMS setup in Houdini to rapidly tune, tweak, and warp additive structures, consuming pressure map data to generate performance optimized midsole and outsole geometry.
Development of this tool allows rapid iterations of several TPMS based structures and warping, distorting, and tuning them beyond an off-the-shelf solution to create truly unique and performance driven additive geometry.
